About
mike

My journey to facilitating transformative conversations on culture, leadership and social & emotional wellbeing began with 15 years as an AHPRA registered complementary medicine practitioner. Against a prevailing tide of overwork and overwhelm, my own health crisis revealed a vital missing piece - the power of strong, supportive, empathetic human connection. Those years as a clinician, creating safety for sensitive health & wellbeing conversations became the foundation for my highly practical approach to complex topics.

For the past decade, I've guided workplaces and organisations to lead generative conversations about culture, collaboration, wellbeing, and leadership. I've supported schools across Australia to reimagine wellbeing programs and social and emotional learning, helping educators and parents engage young people in better conversations about practical aspects of wellbeing, relationships, and behaviour. I’ve worked in suicide prevention, delivering mental health leadership camps to groups of young people and safeTALK suicide alertness trainings. Alongside this work, I founded Good Blokes Co, a social enterprise promoting healthy masculinity through honest conversations with men and boys about culture, wellbeing, behaviour and leadership.

My passion lies in empowering communities with the human skills that build healthy, supportive, accountable social connection. When we embed honest conversations into a culture, we unleash humans' innate ability to support each other's growth, learning and wellbeing, as authentic connection and belonging fuel lasting transformation.
